Search Requirements
System Requirements and Recommendations
To use the MusicSource search engine here at the 615 Music
web site, you must have a recent browser, as shown in
the list below. In addition, you must have Javascript
enabled. For more information on how this works, see
the "Javascript" section below. We also recommend that you get a copy
of the Windows Media Player -- our online auditioning
requires that you have this plug-in. Visit Microsoft
for more details on their exciting sound distribution
technology.

Supported Browsers
The underlying technology of MusicSource requires that
you use a recent browser. You can download Netscape or
Internet Explorer free of charge from their vendors. In
addition to being able to use our powerful search engine,
you'll also have a better web surfing experience in general.
Windows:
Netscape Navigator 3.x, 4.x or later
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or
later
Mac:
Netscape Navigator 3.x, 4.x or later
(Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02+
or 4.0 are NOT supported on the Mac)
AOL:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or
later (standard AOL browser not supported)
About JavaScript
JavaScript is a cross-platform scripting language for
Internet applications like MusicSource. We have used this
simple language to control various aspects of your browser,
Netscape Navigator 3.x or higher or Internet Explorer
4.x. Several pages in the search engine process
your input so that we can correctly search our databases
for the kind of music you want. It is required that you
have JavaScript enabled. To verify that you do, click

these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select "Options | Network
Preferences..."
2. From the window on the left, click on the "+"
next to "Advanced"
3. Make sure the checkbox is checked that says "Enable
JavaScript"
4. Click the OK button.
