615 Music President Randy Wachtler hosts party to raise funds for Nashville's Man of the Year 2008

 Music business veteran Randy Wachtler of 615 Music hosted a gala on May 14, 2008 to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as part of his campaign for Nashville's Man & Woman of the Year 2008.
Nashville singer-songwriters Phil Vassar, Lee Roy Parnell, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, and Dave Berg performed at the intimate event at Wachtler's home. Guests included many of Wachtler's music industry friends, Titans coach Jeff Fisher and NFL star Neil O'Donnell.

NBC's Today Show has received a Daytime Emmy Nomination for its new theme song from 615 music called "It's a New Day, Today!"
According to MediaBistro.com, "The Daytime Emmy Nominations, announced today, included Today's nom for 'Outstanding Original Song.' Randy Wachtler and Greg Barnhill of 615 Music and Frank Radice of NBC are credited as composers/lyricists.
Today is up against two Guiding Light songs, one from Passions, and one from The Young and the Restless... "

HBO and Soprano Productions, the division of HBO that produces the famed Sopranos series, recently aquired the 615 Music Library. Also, HBO recently chose to use a cut from SFL-1062 "Lava Lounge" as part of a spot promoting the airing of "Scooby Doo: The Movie."
